About me

My name is Ranz Jaren Tayo Bontogon (he/him). I was born in Manila, Philippines on October 18th, 1999. I emigrated from Manila, Philippines to Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada when I was 12 and got my citizenship in January of 2021. I started working at the age of 15. While I was going to high school I worked part-time hours, and after I graduated in 2018, I worked overtime hours (50 hours a week) for two years in order to pay for university. At the age of 21, I started my first year at Mount Allison, attending Bachelor of Fine Arts.
